UK regional telephone numbers are standard UK telephone numbers that utilise a regional STD dialling code, but can be acquired and diverted to any UK number, mobile or even internationally.
This is attractive to companies that wish to create the impression that they are based in or have branches in various UK regions. Use 0207 to create a city of London base, or perhaps further afield with Manchester 0161, Birmingham 0121, or even 0141 for Glasgow. International companies can also use UK Regional numbers to imply a UK presence.
